Surface preparation is the key to a beautiful and long-lasting paint finish. BrushDrop Painting has experience of preparing all surfaces for painting, from raw steel and window frames to ceilings, walls and skirting.

Each type of surface has its own requirements for preparing it for painting. If you are going to paint on previously painted wood, you can’t just slap new paint on the surface. It needs a bit of prep first.
If the surface is in poor condition, the old paint or varnish has to be removed first with a paint stripper or by scraping peeling paint off with a scraper and sanding the surface with sandpaper.
Previously painted walls, raw plaster, bricks, etc. all need a special preparation process before you can start to paint.
